From the Belly of the Beast

We live in Missouri.

Where we eat fist-fulls of caterpillars for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our greens are poison ivy. Dessert: meal worms. The mealier and wormier the better. But no ticks. No. We don't want to hear anything about ticks.

Phoenix on ticks: "Ticks are not fun to get pulled off. Why do they always have to bite onto us for no reason. Why can't they bite something else, like deer, or ostriches, or polar bears?"

Veda on ticks: "About ticks, there's no ticks allowed in a rocket."

Paper Planes

The funniest types of airplanes flop.
We made a fish plane, a down plane, an up plane, a down and up plane, a very small plane, a floppy plane, an "O" plane, a triple "O" plane, and a straight plane that flies straight.

Mom rode a straight plane to France. That's a boring one.
